Dee,

I don't think a G3 *iBook* will run leopard (without fudging).   
Generally you need a 1Ghz G4 (at least) to run Leopard.  Unless you  
have done a laptop HD Replacement, I would not advise doing it.  On  
the other hand, if it
is a G3 iBook, it's a good first try candidiate, as you're not losing  
much if it doesn't go as planned.

Assuming it's a *G4*, it makes a difference if it is an iBook, or a  
TiBook, or AlBook.
