[DEMUG] Office-type software?

I know it might be (or at least seem) a bit lame, but MS Office is the
de facto standard for pretty much all of corporate America. Which may
or may not be an issue for you.
The 2008 version seems a bit snappier, but I'm not exactly a power
user so there may be some things that aren't up to the highest
standards. Some of the alternatives are getting better reviews, but I
can't speak about them either since I've never tried them. The MAC
version of MS Office has long been considered a better product than
the windows version.
Since I'm in business for myself and all my clients use MS Office, I
use it to insure I'm 100% compatible with them. Again, maybe not
something you have to consider, but it might make sense to factor
compatibility into your selection.
