[DEMUG] Printer quits

Can you help with this problem?  I have an Epson C380 which is fairly 
new.  I run it from my G5.  It worked perfectly for a while, then 
started to need restarting if I left it on overnight.  Now it needs 
restarting if I leave it for only an hour.  I have had this problem 
with other printers, Epson and HP, so I suspect it isn't in the 
printer, but maybe a new driver? The printer program says, "No 
connection, delete job?"  I  cancel the print job, turn off the 
printer, then turn it back on, then resume the print job.  I am 
running OS 10.4.8.
