[DEMUG] video projector

I have a powerbook G4 and can't seem to get it to talk to my  
projector through any of the various cables I have.  The dongle I  
have does not plug into any of the ports on my laptop.  The video  
output is a strange looking rather large looking thing that I don't  
have any male connector to. What do I need to make this work?  the i- 
book was pretty simple...I'm puzzled.
