Steve is right on with his suggestions. The commands you reference  
<!-- wd_include file="footer"--><!-- /wd_include file="footer"-->,  
those are WebDesign specific commands, not html. In other words what's  
happening is before you upload a website this program is translating  
those wd_include commands into html. I So the problem lies within your  
program. t appears to me the program is just getting a little over- 
zealous on when it does this translation. Since this is shareware and  
I assume you have a key the reinstall, perhaps after deleting all  
preferences should purge the evil spirits here.
