[DEMUG] disc is full; not enough space

Unless the drive has been replaced at some time, I'm pretty sure it's  
bigger than that.  Even the very first ibooks (the colored clamshells)  
came with a minimum of 3GB drives.  She may only have 1 GB of free  
space remaining, at which point that shouldn't be the cause of the  
weirdnesses.    I would look first to see if the ibook has a fast  
enough processor (867MHz or better) to run Leopard.
