[DEMUG] MacBook Pro dies at 51% battery

Have you checked to see if it is covered under Apple's battery  
exchange program?

My son's battery was covered.  He had a variety of bizarre battery  
issues, not consistent but definitely annoying.  Apple didn't ask many  
questions beyond the model number before they suggested replacement.
