[DEMUG] Pass Word Problems

  I have an IBook G3 that I recently installed a new hard drive and all 
of that is working well. I mention it only in case it has relavance to 
my problem. When I turn on the computer there is no problem and it 
boots and every thing works fine. However if I try to perform some task 
where I need to use my password, such as connecting to another computer 
or logging in( I have two accounts on the computer) and use my password 
it is not accepted. I have tried to create a new password but you need 
to put in the old one which I have done and it has not worked. The hint 
for the old password is accurate and I know that the old password is 
correct. Help
