Cool. Yes, until you actually write over the files (either by  
capturing new images or reformatting the card with new 1's and 0's  
the information is still there. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but  
I think your computer hard drive is the same way. You might drag an  
item to the trash and empty the trash it, but until you write new  
files in that file's space, the item you trashed is still recoverable
