1) Apple doesn't do repairs.. they contract the work out.
2) Apple is very strict about how things get sent to warranty depots,
partially because the depots don't want to be responsible for
breaking anything; so all the depot boxes (Dell, Apple, HP, etc.) are
pretty much exactly the same.
3) Apple equipment is highly susceptible to in-transit theft, so they
do not want any more identification on boxes than is necessary. Apple
parts and stocking orders now come from "AI." No Apple logos. no
other identifiers.
